Velvet, the official oldest Hareswith Golden

Today, Christmas day, Velvet has reached the age of 14 years 166 days, beating Chesters record of 14 years 165 days.
She has out lived her sister Grace and niece Hazel. Long may she continue. Bless her.

    Bless her, my oldest is 14yrs too, The Lairds Granny. A bit stiff with arthritis, but she manages ok and has a big appetite! The Oldies are so special!

    Its great to hear that Velvet is still going strong.

    We still have Harvey who is from the same litter.

    He still still has lots of energy and loves to swim in our local lake.
